Southbound kicks off for Campers on Friday 2nd Jan:

• 9.00am Parking and camp grounds open
• 10.00am Base Camp opens
• 12.30pm Festival gates swing open
• 1.00pm Bars open and first performance starts
• 10.00pm Parking and camp ground entry close
• 11.30pm Bars close
• 12.00am Last band finishes
• 2.00am Base Camp closes

For the limited number of festival patrons who have tickets for Friday 2nd Jan the timetable is:

• 9.00am Parking opens
• 12.30pm Festival gates swing open
• 1.00pm Bars open and first performance starts
• 11.30pm Bars close
• 12.00am Last band finishes

(Note : Non-campers don't have access to Base Camp or the Campgrounds)

The main day's entertainment happens on Saturday 3rd Jan 2009:

• 9.00am Parking opens
• 10.30am Festival gates swing open
• 11.00am First performance starts
• 12.00pm Bars open
• 11.30pm Bars close
• 12.00am Last band finishes
Then for Campers only, Base Camp closes at 2.00am.
