The Base Camp area, which is available for the exclusive use of campers, is sure to make your camping experience an unforgettable one. Base Camp is located on the lush playing fields next to the festival and is basically the hub for campers.

Following the great feedback in relation to Base Camp last year, we have fine tuned things to make your camping experience even better this year..

Base Camp will feature the following:

• A licensed bar
• Outdoor movie theatre - screening cult movie classics, documentaries and shorts from SPLIF
• Karaoke Tent
• Groove Tent
• Street Performers Stage
• An open mic stage (so bring your guitar or favourite instrument)
• Food stalls
• Free internet café
• Mobile phone recharging station
• Barista brewed coffee
• Therapeutic chai tea stall
• Healing Centre
• Arcade games
• General Store with supplies (snacks, soft drinks, water, personal hygiene products) and basic camping gear (tents, bedding)
• Info point including lost & found
• Medical area
• Water point for bottle refills

Base Camp will open between the following times:

• 10.00am Friday - 2.00am Saturday
• 6.00am Saturday - 2.00am Sunday

After 2.00am each night, campers are requested to return to their tents to settle down for the night. Please show respect for your fellow campers and nearby neighbours and keep the noise down.
