For other events such as Stereosonic, St Jeromes Laneway Festival and West Coast Blues n Roots Festival, we are currently taking expressions of interest for positions via email.
Please email rachel@sunsetevents.com.au with you age (you must be over 18), a brief outline of your work history and your contact details. We will be in touch closer to each event to confirm positions.
Bar
Bar staff, cashiers, stockers, bar supervisors and volunteer roles for all bar areas at our events, are sourced through Independent Events.

Street Team
There are currently no positions available with our Street Team.
Sunset Office
There are currently no positions available with our Sunset Office.
Volunteering & Student Placements
There are a limited number of voluntary positions available in the Sunset Events office.
Preference will be given to those who have studied or are studying events management, music, arts management, business, PR, marketing or human resources.
We are now seeking volunteers who wish to work over the festival season for Southbound 2009 and other events we run over summer. Ideally these positions start in September 2008 with a commitment of at least one-two days per week and then continue through until March/April 2009.
Essential skills and requirements:
Experience at minimum intermediate level in use of Microsoft Office inc Word, Outlook and Excel.
Good communication skills, great phone manner, ability to work to deadlines, research and reporting skills and a passion for music, arts, the environment and our events is essential.
Previous experience in administration, events, music industry or PR would be highly regarded.
