Monday, 7 June, 2010: One Movement for Music Perth (OMFM) has confirmed another 16 speakers to join the already impressive international line-up announced for the 6 to 10 October, 2010 event.
Derived from eight different countries, this announcement takes the total number of speakers confirmed so far to 29, firmly cementing the OMFM‟s place as the most important music industry event in the Southern Hemisphere.
Making their way to Perth for OMFM 2010 will be industry executives including David Loiterton (Managing Director, Omnifone APAC), Kevin Arnold (Founder/CEO, IODA, USA) and Arjun Sankalia (Director: Repertoire & Special Products, Sony Music Entertainment, India). Adding further weight to the offering will be industry leaders Kyle Hopkins (Head of Music, Xbox/Microsoft Media Acquisitions, USA), Patrik Larsson (Partner and Founder, Headlock Management/Lights Out, Sweden), Sebastian Mair (Co-Founder, Music Solutions in Japan), Phil Patterson (Music industry specialist at UKTI in the UK), Frank Takeshita (Executive GM, Creativeman Productions, Japan), Julian Wall (BPI‟s Director of Independent Member Services, UK), Oum Pradutt (Managing Director, Phase 1 Events, India), Ben Mawson (legal affairs of leading UK music firm SSB UK), Deville Schober (CEO, Brainstorm, Germany), Bobby Talwar (Managing Director, OML India), Martin Elbourne (Booking Agent, Glastonbury/The Great Escape, UK), Jasper Donat (CEO, Music Matters Asia/Nokia Music Connects India, Hong Kong) and Chris Gough (MD, Native Tongue Music Publishing, Australia).

Kevin Arnold (USA) – Kevin Arnold founded IODA in 2003 on the belief that emerging digital technologies could level the playing field for independent rights holders. By combining unique technologies with music business expertise, IODA is now the leading digital distributor for the global independent music and video community. IODA operates in every major music market around the world, distributing a roster of more than two million tracks and over 2000 independent film and video titles to hundreds of digital storefronts worldwide. Kevin is also the creator of Noise Pop, the internationally renowned music festival.
Jasper Donat (Hong Kong) - Co-Founder & Executive Director, Branded ltd. Jasper began his career in advertising in 1987 at Chris Ingram Associates (now Mediaedge:CIA) after which he joined Eurosport He moved to Asia in 1995 to work for News Corporation sports network Star Sports transferring SVP Sales & Marketing Channel [V] in 1997. In 2001 he co-founded BRANDED, a leading Asian media & entertainment marketing agency, where he has worked with a number of the world‟s leading entertainment brands and executives. Jasper is also President of Music Matters – the Asia Pacific Music Forum.

Chris Gough (Aust) - Chris is Managing Director at Native Tongue Music Publishing, an independent music publisher with offices in Melbourne, Auckland and London. Native Tongue commenced operation in January 2004, taking over the publishing catalogue of Mana Music which Chris started in 1987 and its Australian and New Zealand roster includes Philadelphia Grand Jury, Parades, Oh Mercy, Kid Sam, Gin Wigmore, Dukes, the Black Seeds, Don McGlashan and the Topp Twins to name a few.
Kyle Hopkins (USA) – Kyle is the Music Supervisor for Microsoft/Xbox and as such oversees music supervision for Microsoft, curating soundtracks for Xbox games and places music in Windows, Windows Mobile, Xbox Live and Zune marketing campaigns. Kyle also hosts two weekly radio programs on award- winning KEXP 90.3 in Seattle, a four-time CMJ “Station of the Year” award winner and the most streamed radio station in America. As a performer, Kyle has DJ'd alongside such luminaries as Damian Marley, Massive Attack, Burning Spear, Goldie, Benga, Roni Size, LTJ Bukem, DJ Hype and countless others. Kyle is a music fanatic and an avid vinyl record collector.
Patrik Larsson (SWEDEN) – Patrik has be a part of the Swedish music industry for almost 20 years as an artist, producer, writer, promoter, label manager and A&R. He currently represents a number of ground- breaking Swedish artists including Sidechild and Francis and is a well-entrenched and respected on the Swedish and Scandinavian independent music scene. Patrik started his own independent consulting company Lights Out in 2004 and is one of the 3 partners at Stockholm based Headlock Management. He frequently attends music conferences worldwide and is a prominent lecturer at music schools across Sweden.
David Loiterton (Hong Kong) –David heads up the commercialisation of Omnifone‟s services across Asia Pacific. David is one of the most experienced entertainment executives in Asia, with 20 years in artist management, recorded music, music publishing, live entertainment, marketing and A&R, online & mobile entertainment and video games.
Sebastian Mair (JAPAN) - Born and raised in Toronto, Sebastian started his music industry career in Canada before relocating to Tokyo in 1996. Since that time and co-founding Music Solutions (Hong Kong- Macau / Tokyo), he has been a fixture in the Japanese music industry, consulting for a who‟s who of the industry including JVC/Victor Entertainment, Fujipacific Music, Maple Music, Chris Smith Management, Roadrunner Records, Syn Entertainment, Export Music Sweden, Rykodisc, etc. On top of that, he`s often a music supervisor for film, television and DVD projects as well as numerous music compilations.

Oum Pradutt (INDIA) - For the past decade Oum Pradutt and his company, Phase 1 Events & Entertainment, have been offering entertainment solutions to a corporate clientele that includes such Fortune 500 companies as Nike, Accenture, AOL, IBM, Microsoft, Mercedes Benz, 3M, Volvo, MTV and Benetton, among others. Based in Bangalore, India, Phase 1 has executed events across the UK, India, South Africa, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia and Sri Lanka. In addition to his corporate clientele, Oum also produces the New Year‟s themed party “Hollywood,” which now attracts over 15,000 people.
Arjun Sankalia (INDIA) - Arjun got his start in the music business rather early when he started a mobile discotheque company called “Ear Damage‟ with some friends, while in university, way back in 1990. On completing his masters in advertising in 1996, he joined an Advertising agency as a management trainee in account servicing. In 1999, he joined Sony Music India, in the strategic marketing department, and has been with them ever since, rising to his current position of Director and business head of „all things international‟.
Deville Schober (Germany) – Deville Schober is the CEO of Brainstorm Music Marketing Corporation. Brainstorm was founded in 1991 and has been the most successful independent Rock Promotion Company in Germany for more than 15 years now.
Frank Takeshita (Japan) – Frank commenced his career in the music business in 1989 and over 10 years rose to Deputy General Manager and Label Manager for Atlantic, Interscope, Elektra and worldwide EastWest labels for EastWest Japan. In 1999 he segued to Horizon International as President. In 2001 he returned to the major label realm as GM of Zomba (Jive) Records Japan, moving to SonyBMG along with the label in 2003. After four years at JVC Entertainment Networks as VP Marketing, Frank joined Japan‟s Creativeman Productions, one of the most accomplished and successful concert promoters worldwide, as Executive GM.
Bobby Talwar (India) – Bobby Talwar is a lawyer, musician Founding Director in 'Only Much Louder' one of the only event and artist management companies in India, professionally managing leading Indian bands/acts as well as booking agents for about 150 other acts across genres of music, including popular hindi/Bollywood performers/actors. He is also a Founding Director in „Counter Culture Records‟, „Babble Fish and „OML Digital,‟ a technology initiative which creates software, online solutions and mobile apps to service the music industry and also runs NH7, an online portal for independent musicians in India to directly reach out to their fans.
