AIR PRESENTING ONE MOVEMENT – THE INDEPENDENT TIMES
ONE MOVEMENT FOR MUSIC PERTH ALIGNING WITH THE JB SEED
One Movement For Music Perth (OMMP) is pleased to announce that the Australian Independent Record
Labels Association (AIR) will be co curating One Movement – The Independent Times with One Movement
partners, Sunset Events, Chugg Entertainment and A&R Worldwide, which will run alongside One Movement
MUSEXPO Asia Pacific, together forming the One Movement For Music Conferences.
AIR will develop content and program two days of panels and discussions, bringing the best independent music
experts to Perth to be a part of One Movement For Music Perth.
The music industry has changed. For good! New mediums have rewritten the rulebook on how to market,
distribute, record and sell music. And what to some is a curse is for others a cure. The independent music
industry has emerged from obscurity to become a force within its own right, challenging age-old institutions for
a hefty slice of the market. Learn about the future of this rapidly changing sector of the industry directly from
the minds of those responsible.

Event partners David Chitty (Sunset Events), Michael Chugg (Chugg Entertainment) and Sat Bisla (A&R
Worldwide) all agreed that an independent panel, alongside MUSEXPO Asia Pacific, was essential given the
amount of emerging and breaking indie acts playing at the One Movement Music Festival. These artists,
managers and agents need their own forum to discuss issues that directly affect them. And there are none
better equipped to help deliver a world-class independent panel, with a focus on the Asia Pacific region, than
AIR and JB Seed.
One Movement – The Independent Times will provide a snapshot of the future of the music industry, and an
essential destination for those who, quite simply, need to know!
OMMP is also excited to announce a further program partnership with The JB Seed. The JB Seed, in
partnership with AIR and One Movement, has created an initiative to support emerging managers, and their
artists to progress to the next level of their careers. Ten previous JB Seed Management workshop attendees
will be awarded the opportunity to take part in One Movement – The Independent Times summit. Participants
will receive complimentary registration, and a contribution towards their travel and accommodation costs. This
unique experience will be a platform for broad, creative and innovative thinking, an opportunity to strengthen
the community of the emerging Australian music industry. Recipients will be announced in September.
