LITTLE RED
In the summer of 2005 five very different Melbourne musicians came together to form a band. Brought together by an unashamed love of hook and melody the five lads immediately set about playing anywhere and everywhere, honing their sound down to something classic and yet incredibly new and unique. It didn’t take long for people to catch on. After wowing punters and selling out local residencies the band then released their debut EP Get Ready in 2007. Get Ready was a brash collection of some of the liveliest feel good pop music to come out of Melbourne town in years, followed by their debut LP Listen To Little Red in 2008. If Get Ready was a wake up call, Listen To Little Red was a clarion, heralding the arrival of something truly fresh on the Australian musical landscape, leading the Herald Sun to call them “The next Melbourne band in line for world domination.”
