KING GEORGE

In 2007 young songwriter Jordi James won the WAMi Song Of The Year and received 10 hours of recording. This ended up as the self-titled Jordi James EP, but after a few solo gigs Jordi decided to find a co-frontman. He recruited friend Josh Biondillo. They won recording time from the Next Big Thing, but drums were needed. Prodigious Flairz drummer Scarlett Stevens turned up just in time to save the day. Josh decided that if they were going to have drums they would need a bassist, but they couldn’t be bothered searching for one, so they just used a session bassist. After two hectic days of recording they ended up with a two track demo, Spaceship and Bigger Fish. Nick Gardner became their permanent bassist and soon after they had their first gig in the distant town of Denmark in Western Australia’s southwest. Since then they have gigged around the place. Lots!
